I'll try harder

Sorry I haven't been blogging in the last month. The new job is taking it's toll on my time. I've also gotten in a funk of laziness. I come home from work and I'm so drained from the day.

Other things going on --
I was suppose to go to a wedding in Houston this weekend, but that got post-poned because of the hurricane, so I went climbing. It was the first Trad climb I've ever done, and it brought the fear and nervousness back into climbing. Trad climbing, as so know as Traditional climbing, is placing your own gear for anchors while you climb. The gear is either wire nuts that slide into area or cams that close up to fit into spots then open to hold against the rock.

I've been climbing a lot in the last couple of weeks, going to gym during the week and heading outdoors on the weekends. It's a nice release from the daily grind.

About me

  • I'm todd
  • From Atlanta, Georgia, United States
  • I work in a cube, dreaming of the outside world all day. There are no windows near me, only virtual images displayed in front of me. I try to be creative from time to time, but it's hard to minic the world when you don't remember what it looks like. This is why I travel and take in new sights and sounds and people, when it's posible. Stimulation is better than simulation. I also ramble aimlessly on about absolutely nothing.
